Kilimanjaro Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival and Preparation

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be greeted and transferred to your accommodation in Moshi. Use this day to rest and acclimate to the altitude. Our team will conduct a briefing to review your gear and go over the details of the climb. Enjoy a relaxing evening in Moshi as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2

Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

Begin your trek with a transfer to the Marangu Gate. From there, start your ascent through the lush rainforest, a path that provides stunning views and rich vegetation. Reach Mandara Hut, your first overnight stop, where you’ll settle in and take in the serene surroundings of the forest.

Day 3

Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

Continue your trek from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut, moving through the transition from rainforest to the heath and moorland zone. The path offers increasingly expansive views as you ascend. At Horombo Hut, you’ll have the opportunity to rest and acclimate, preparing for higher altitudes.

Day 4

Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

Today’s trek takes you from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut, located close to the summit. The terrain becomes more arid and rugged as you climb higher into the alpine desert zone. Spend the night at Kibo Hut, where you’ll rest and prepare for the summit attempt that will begin in the early hours of the next morning.

Day 5

Kibo Hut to Summit and Descent to Horombo Hut

Your summit attempt starts in the early morning hours. Depart from Kibo Hut to reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, by sunrise. Experience the breathtaking views and the exhilaration of standing at the top of the continent. Afterward, descend back to Horombo Hut, where you’ll spend the night and celebrate your achievement.

Day 6

Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate

Complete your trek by descending from Horombo Hut to the Marangu Gate. At the gate, you’ll receive a summit certificate to commemorate your successful climb. Following the ceremony, you’ll be transferred back to your accommodation in Moshi for a well-deserved rest and to reflect on your remarkable journey.
