Day 1

**Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park**
After a hearty breakfast, we will embark on our safari adventure, starting with a brief stop in Arusha Town for any last-minute shopping or supplies. Following this, we’ll make our way to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its impressive elephant population and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a thrilling game drive, where you’ll have the chance to witness the park’s diverse wildlife, including up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeests, and 30,000 zebras, all participating in the annual migratory cycle. A picnic lunch will be served amidst the stunning natural scenery. As the day comes to a close, we will settle in at our campsite for dinner and a restful overnight stay under the African stars.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the beautiful, high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and attracts wildlife that represents most of the Serengeti’s species.

We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at the Seronera Campsite.

Day 3

After a leisurely morning and an early lunch, we will set off towards Ngorongoro Crater. Our skilled and knowledgeable driver from Active Planet Safaris will guide you along the scenic route from Serengeti to Ngorongoro, sharing insights about the diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes of Tanzania. As we make our way, keep your eyes peeled for any wildlife sightings along the journey. Once we arrive, you will spend the night on the crater rim, where you can enjoy the breathtaking views. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at Simba Campsite, ensuring a comfortable stay amidst nature’s beauty.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports various animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephant. Another big drawcard to this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.

We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Many flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds are usually seen here. We will transfer you to Arusha for drop-off at the airport in the late afternoon.
